Just think if we were a little ( a lot really) taller we could see very easily where we are going and what is only around the corner. I'm lucky with no class untill 6:30 this evening but wow do they keep one busy. Track isn't easy. I don't feel I've tried as hard as I should. I got some rest Sunday which helped pretty much in practice yesterday. We won both track meets so far. Haverford last Wed. by 112-33 [I ran about a 2:20 1/2 mile-just about last. and a 5:23 mile-last]. We also cleared crab grass and other weeds out from around the bushes around the Academic Center. I just did a small wash (my underware and a pair of socks). I "finally" did pretty good on a test. I got a 98 on my Physics test. Now I'm convinced it was a simple test--the professor even said so ["too easy"]. The class average was high (about 78). I had a chemistry lab that took longer to prepare for than I thought it would. I twas a qualitative analysis scheme and [I] was up till 12:30 last night and up at 5:00 this morning working on it. I found out in lab that more than half of the write up is due Friday. That was a break because I was the last one out of the lab anyway./ Goodnight. Love, Mike.

We are going to take a tour this morning of a really large oceanographic vessel thats into port at Castle Harbor by the town of St. George. The island is really neat. Its almost small (19 sq. mi.) enough to get to know pretty quickly, but there are still many things that can not be seen too quickly. There are just as many places in the ocean. We went diving about 4 or 5 or more miles out at Nort Rock Thursday morning where there were some beautiful coral heads (brain coral, rose coral etc) and very pretty Fish.
