Dear Mom and Dad and Joan,                    Mon. Dec 4 [1972]

I did a wash this morning. Nice clean sheets etc.

Thanks for writing, Dad. I stopped thinking about the Physics professor. I've got a Physics test today. I'm all set.

The last day of the semester is Dec. 22. Classes are to end a 5:00 pm on that day (Friday). The last week (18-22) will probably mainly or all be exams. I think I have one or two exams on the last day. I'm not sure whether there will be an exam schedule which will change the times that I usually attend classes these last days, but if not I will be out of class between 3 and 4 pm Fri the 22nd.

             Tues. Dec 5

St. Boniface burnt down last night from about 4 am on, till daybreak. We had no water in Skeath hall from 7 am till about 5 or 6 pm yesterday. Workers are still outside today working on the broken water pipe.

My physics test went OK. I think was a little over confident, though: As a result I probably got a 90

instead of 100.

Ever hear of a PPJ (pyknic practical joke). It's someone who has the predominant characteristics of a mesomorph when younger (untill about 30-40) then becomes endomorphic. It is Sheldon's concept, from his constutional theory of personality. Another good one is dysplasia, which is, for example like being endomorphic in the thoracic region and mesomorphic in the lower appendages.

I saw The Vandals with Harry Reasoner and a cast of thousands last night. The Roman barbarians live again.

Blastoff to the moon tomorrow night. [Apollo 17]

The previous balance due today is only $9.24 but was $485.00 when the student bill was sent to you. $450.00 was just taken off by the NDSL and $26.64 was taken off by work study. I won't take the remaining $9.24 into consideration because I have already worked enough hours since the last cash credit to take care of the remaining balance. Work study ($200) can be subtracted from the remaining net amount due ($480.00) to give $280.00 due

Enclosures (parent's copy of student bill; two previous cash credits). Please transfer $280.00 from my savings account to my checking account. Thank you.

Thank you for your support.

Love,

Mike
