Dear Mom and Dad and family,  12-12-72

Thank you for the nice Birthday greeting on the nice card, and thanks for transfering the $280.00. I have paid the bill.

I might be able to leave here around 10-11am Friday instead of 3-4pm (as noted in the last letter). I can let you know next week. If I don't let you know, or if next week is too late a notification, come at the time that is most convenient. I'm sure I will be ready by 10:30 am Friday (the 22nd). 

The last Physics test didn't go as well as I thought. I only got a 79 (still not bad). I got a 70 on the last Chemistry exam. I was rushed. Otherwise I would have done better. /I got back my Embryology test that I took before Thanksgiving (it was a take home test). I got an A on it. We checked out of chemistry lab today. The last Physics lab is Thursday. No labs the last week. three tests next week and a paper all in different courses.

It was sleeting this morning. there was a very small accumulation (about 1/4").

I must do some christmas shopping up here. There will only be two days before christmas when the semester ends. One of those days is a Sunday. There ain't much time.

Bill is probably busy with finals this week. Wish him luck if you get a chance.

Do you have classes up till next week, Dad ^{or are they finished}? Good luck in any final evaluations.
