Dear Mom and Dad,        Friday 14 Jan. 1972

I haven't been able to do too much else except go to class and work since I wrote last.

I got your letter, Mom. I'm glad Gurdgie didn't go too far.

My classes seem pretty interesting, but they'll involve a lot of hard work.

I'm tired this morning though I had plenty of sleep last night. I have 3 classes in a row in the morning and one right after lunch. It's lunch time right now. It's going to be hard being prepared for all 4 classes everyday. The ^first reading assignment in one class has taken all my time from one day to the next. It's a good thing there is a day between classes. It doesn't always help though. I'll be working till 3:30 on Thurs. and Sat. and I have

labs on Tues until 3:00. At about 3:30 I go running then shower and it's time to eat supper. I haven't been going to supper as soon as I'm ready. Instead I wait until supper is just about over then I go. In the meantime I can read as assignment. After supper I have to continue studying and couple other things like going to the library or to the Psyche lab, or extra assignments or work with my rat.

I'd better go eat lunch
