What is so rare as a June day in January? With acknowledgements to James Russell Lowell.

I took advantage of the warmth of the day to give the car a thorough cleaning and polishing. It was such warm work that I took a bath and changed my underclothes to avoid catching cold.

Resolved to live closer to God and give myself to him as never before.

We are having family prayers morning or night, as time allows, quite regularly.
