Went to Library of Congress to read Raymond Calkins' The Eloquence of Christian Experience," a great volume.  

Fine winter weather - coasting is good. Snow still covers ground a week after it fell.

More than usual at the Chapel.  Smaller than usual at Bowie.

Icy roads and muddy in places by noon, at least on top of ground.

About 30 present at Whitefield at night.  Louise Eberle & Wms wife Mallery spoke - Friend.  Spirit Class had charge of service.
