Dear Mom and Dad, Sunday [January 1972; letter references January]
I forgot to write this in one of the last letters. Information has been sent about the May Term. Tuition is $150.00 and Room is $50. and Board is $60. That comes to $260. plus possible additional lab fees and such.
The course offerings are okay. I wouldn't mind taking a couple of them. I won't have quite enough money. I might have about $150-200, but I'm not sure. I should be able to work the rest of the year here. I don't have my heart set on taking any of the courses, I just want to let you know the situation and would like to know what you

think.
If I am to take any of the courses I will have to have the request form in by January 28th.
Did you get the PCS (Parents Confidential Statement (form)) I sent? I hope there is enough postage on it and I hope it's not too messy to go through the mail.
I don't feel that it would be so good to work all semester to come up with maybe a little more than half the money. I would need financial help from you too. I don't know that we could make it.
Apparently there is no financial aid given by the college on such a short term.
Hope you had a good time watching the superbowl. I don't think it's over yet. It's about 4:40 pm.
Love, Mike
