Colder  In 20's all day.  Cloudy (part)

Stopped at garage after trip to Hyattsville for repairs--light & steering gear - to Pennsfields - to Bowie (Bank).  Bobby went too.  

Then, took Mrs. C. Howser & her sister to Washington - car to Willard Hotel. Saw Dr. Todd, McDaniel, Dr. Clark, met Dr. Hillman of Simpson College & Dr. Doney of Williamette.  

Went to Garfield Hosp. but it was lunch hour so drove to Congressional Library - got 7 books, read 1 chapter in Raymond Calkins' "The Eloquence of Christian Experience" a great lecture getting down to the bedrock.

Brought children home.

Took M. to Glenndale to Guild Oyster supper.  Tel conversation with Dr. L. B. Bowers.

Mildred & I went to Serrier's to Surprise Party given by Friendship Class.
