Mom, Dad,

The mail moves pretty fast, doesn't it? Or do you think so? I got the signed (in the right place--according to the Treasurer's secretary) form Prom. Note back today.

"Do you (Dad) Ha Ha, have a hidden problem (trait may be another word here) of some sort," said Michael in a jokingly sarcastic way. Not that its any importance at all. But I notice at least one of your "i's" to have a circle (ex. i) over top instead of a dot. I don't know what it really means, and I don't think there is any matter in it (no reason to think about it, in other words). I was just thinking.

Since there is, maybe, some

dislike or shunning by others of the usage of this form of "dotting" and "i", then there will be, naturally, a conscious (or maybe not so conscious) effort to not make a circle over the i; no matter what the reason is for doing so.

Who knows then, what this signifies? It may signify some sort of greatness. Then by suppressing the expression of this characteristic the trait itself may be suppressed. Writing (both the ideas expressed and the handwriting used) is thought of as a clue to identity, usually.

Well, I think it is great to be able to stand up in the midst of all this criticism (of circles of i's) and feel free to put a circle over one's i whenever he feels like it.

I found myself making a circle over an i (I remember at least one time) and I also remember making an effort not to do it again.
