Hi Mom and Dad, 9-22-73
How are things? /Lycoming lost its first football game today (21-6). Surely there are better things to talk about./ I did okay in my Organic test (95). I've got two papers to get in next week. Working on one "now." Only one at a time. That's usually how its done. The other's almost complete anyway. /The rain's been holding off. Cloudy and breezy though./
Kundalini by Gopi Krishna is interesting. The author had the experience of arousing the serpent Kundalini at the base of his spine through practice of Kundalini yoga-meditation. He got pretty sick for awhile but finally pulled through. He was near insanity and feared death was close. He thinks he aroused only half of the force (the burning hot force cooking his insides) or aroused it wrongly but was somehow saved by using his last bit of will power to arouse the other half (the cooling half). I'm only half finished the book, but thus far Krishna speaks of the insignificance of this arousal experience. Left little difference in him for many years.
Back to reality. /I lost my train of thought. I dreamed up a storm last night - literally. Through the 5 dreams that I recall ran a theme. Though the dreams seemed not to be related in content, the theme tied them together. Relationships inside buildings seemed to have more meaning than those observed outside where there were only biding time relationships. The storm was different it was like watching a movie. I was not apart of it. The ship in it wrecked & beached in the sand where there were crabs frogs and money, (Lots of all three) Speaking of reality Love, Mike
