Bring up my posters (if you can find them) They are the ones that Bill handed down to me (the one of Candy etc.) Also my Detroit Lions poster.

Jill says she'd rather not go to the (semiformal) Homecoming dance. I'm glad she said no. Do I have to explain? She says she'd love to go with me, but she doesn't want to go. There is no contradiction here.

I had convinced myself not to ask her, but for some reason I had to go through with it, ^{though I had heard her speak negatively of the dance (I didn't remember)}. /Growth may be a "two way" street but ^{also must be} a one way street with enough room for two going the same way.

Jill's mother will be up for Parent's weekend.

You're just coming up for the day? Why not come up Friday? I guess its hard enough getting out on Saturday. Hope you can make it.

Tomorrow is Jill's birthday. She'll be 21.

I've put about 47 miles on my bike since I got the odometer. I checked the thing out on the track. It's ^pretty accurate (I0.05 mile/mile).

The sun just broke through. Its not a bad day. /Its getting […] cool at night (^predicted near 30 last night) See ya soon I hope.
