Kindex

Hello again. Mom, Dad,           Jan. 6, 1971

Please send me Uncle Bob's address. I have a "thank you" to send him (them).

I've been here almost 3 days now and I have written a Philosophy short paper and have written a little more than 3 pages of my Phil. term paper (I got my outline done okay).

I have been running in the morning again (3 times now); and am doing exercises at 4:00.

I don't think I will send (I've decided not to) away for a subscription to the Aquarium magazine or the Innes Book [likely "Exotic Aquarium Fishes" a.k.a. The Innes Book] because I have had second thoughts about send so much money through the mail.

I find now the the Phil course I was thinking of at Joan's was not on Neistche (or however you spell it) but is on Kierkegaard. Our Phil. prof. says they are both existentialists but Kierkegaard was probably the father of it all.

There is no Phil. Exam. There is no real English Final but he wants us to report to class to fill out some type of faculty evaluation on him (faculty evaluation is subscribed by the administration but does not really affect the student).

I will have the Bio lab Exam next Monday (normal meeting time. Then the week after next I will have early two (real) exams Biology 1:30pm the 20th and Math 9:00 am the 22nd. I will have nothing else all that week except the option of reporting to English 6:00 pm the 21st.

I should be ready to leave by about 11:00 am Friday the 22nd.

Before Exams I get out Friday the 15th at 2:00 pm and don't have an Exam until Wednesday the 20th at 1:30 pm (Biology). I guess it really wouldn't work out too well if I came home. But I wouldn't mind. You could let me drive back. Oh well. If I stay here and study it will probably be lonesome at times. Not that there won't be anybody here but I might not find enough to study in Biology. 90% of the Exam will cover material that we have gone over since the last test.

I better stay here though to make sure I study.

See ya later

Love,

Mike
