Stopped at Garage on return from Hyattsville to get some water for battery.  Wrote sermon after telephone calls to Dr. Hand in Washington, Mrs. Nichols at Bowie & Mrs. Moore, Lanham.

Read sermon to M. who wasn't feeling well.  It made no apparent change in her feelings.  

Afternoon trip to Hyattsville without event.  The usual chores.

Too wet for the children to go out to play.

In the evening Boots & Kate called.  When they went & I had finished helping Jean on her Latin, M. & I drove down to the garage to make a call on Olive Pearl Blythe.  She was out but most of the other Blythes & the Hatchers were in.
