Der Mom unt der Dad 4-20 [1971] Tuesday
Hullo. Yes. It was good to see you. And Bill, and Mr. Mcdowell and Monika. Nice to meet Monika's mother and sister, too.
I didn't forget to say goodbye to Bill on purpose, but I just walked right out the side door of the Gym and onto the bus.
We ate at the Chalet on the way back. For $2. there we couldn't get so much of a meal but it was just about (or sufficiently) as much as we would have gotten at school.
Got some (two) bars of Fels Naptha soap to do my wash by hand now. Do a little with my shower in the morning or evening or whenever have time. Save's money and some time I suppose.
There is a meet with Dickinson and Washington at Dickinson the 28th of Apr. at 3:pm (next (after tomorrow) Wednesday)
Have an Eng. class soon (in 5 mins) 6:30 For which I read "Raisan in Sun" It's pretty good. Sometimes "poor" can mean pretty (very) poor. I know I lived all in it in Baltimore but I never realized so consciously how rough it might be for some of those kids (schoolmates and all.)
see you later
Love,
Mike
