Mildred did not feel equal to going to prayer meeting which was held at Garibaldis'. Bro. Fletcher read another sermon on the dangers of the "lucre deck." I said I "hated cards." Nobody could be found who admitted playing them.

The children went to school again.

I am feeling convicted of inefficiency in the ministry and am thinking seriously of trying to go to teaching next fall.
