Hot.

I took Jean to school - & attended to some errands.

M. went to Dr. Fowler's.

I did a big wash by hand, boiling all white clothes.  I was done up never finished until after noon.  The heat was real hot! - washing & wringing next to gas stove where clothes were boiling.

M. & I decided we'd get a washer as the one Watson's let us have has gone bad.

Evg. Mrs. Watson & Mrs. Newman came to an informal meeting - chatted till 11 p.m.
