Kindex

Dear Mom and Dad,                   Nov. 3, 1970

Dave just left. We were talking for quite a while. I have plenty of time today. Not really pressed for time. Went to my first Chapel today. I have to get out of work (maintenance) an hour and a half early to do it.

Its kinda rainy today so I think I won't go downtown. Yes, it has been quite rainy here lately, pretty constant too.

I've earned $178.17 up to the last "pay check" for work study date - Oct 30. Actually they send a receipt or notification of the amount that I earn in the two week period. And the total amount earned thus far---plus the $275.00 that was paid at first. So now there is $453.17 toward this semester's tuition not taking into consideration the loan,

grant, or discount.

Frank didn't work today so I haven't asked him about the possibility of a ride.

"Patton." I was - oh yeah, just today. I was talking to one of the guys on maintenance about "Patton." He brought it up.

Let's see. I came in on the movie when Patton was in one of his offices. A small office. I think he was laying down on a bench or had lain down after talking to that friend of his.-> The good natured little guy who seemed like a chaplain. I forget most of the plot 100 (besides not remembering too well where I came in) esp. after coming in on it after it had already started.

Is Tom still loving the same place in Baltimore. Maybe I'll write him some day soon. I'd like to see him anyway. I guess it's been quite a while.

Bye for now.

Love,

Mike
