Looked up Dr. Spencer again but in vain.  Ordered picture for class album. 

Called on Grace Kilbaugh at Sibley.

Ministers' Meeting - paper by Bert Constance on Wales in early history.

Quarterly Conference at night.  Dr. Hand presiding.  Fine supper by the Ladies.  Excellent reports - signs of progress all round.

Finished reading Thos. E. Watson's Life & Times of Thomas Jefferson.  A very informing, entertaining, pugnacious biography & history.  How T.E. W. likes to roast Wm Eleroy Curtis for his "True Thos. J." & my old prof. at Harvard Edev. Channing for their many mistakes.  I wonder if he has made many too!
