Sat. a.m. Peggy was obstreperous, threw her bib on the floor & refused to pick it up.  Bobby picked it up for her.  Then she would not thank him but kept saying words which she knew we would not like.  I carried her into the bathroom locked the door & administered a spanking to her.  She would not give in but yelled rebellion still.  Bobby was all the time crying and beating the door to get it and save her.  Peggy finally was quieted by her mother with the prospect of another thrashing and she came out and ate her breakfast.
