Wednesday
Dear Mom and Dad and all other readers, (at home I hope)
I got some stationary and some envelopes as you can see (with one eye - half way). I've been to two classes-morning. Already had lunch. Have a class in about 50 minutes (math).
I didn't feel much like writing yesterday (I guess I was a little homesick-don't like to admit it-and thinking of home of course made it worse, yeah!)
Days before I played some touch football but yesterday I didn't get into it. Things are getting better all the time though.
Guess what! there was a "panty raid" last night around 12:00. Guys were banging on doors here in the dorm saying, wake up! Having a panty raid. I stayed in bed. Too lazy to get up. Anyway

I had an 8:00 class this morning and I had gotten into bed about 8:00 or 8:30 and I wasn't going to get out right away.
Just got your letter (before I started writting). My roommate just got the mail.
I've been rescheduled in the Reading Improvement course for 4:30 starting this Monday.
You're letter helps. Its better for me to hear from home than think about it a little too much.
It's been pretty warm here yesterday and today.
The philosophy course will be tough but it will be worth it if I can make it through--papers every other week, seminar type with special note takers (in the class) to distribute the notes next class, term paper, critiques on other people's "position" (statement of their ideas on something) papers.
Better start thinking about my next class. Oh yeah I got my check cashed at the bookstore when I picked up my philosophy book. Registration went all right.
Love, Mike
