The usual cleaning. Forest fires at Buena Vista & toward Riverdale.

M. & I went to Mt. Rainier for ice etc.

Planted beans.

Finished E. Stanley Jones' "The Christ of Every Road" - a great book.

I need to surrender more fully.

Mildred went with me to-day.

Preached to large crowds at Bowie & the Chapel but smaller one than usual at Lanham.  Subject - "God's fellow-workers" -- Partnership with God.

Ate ice cream at Robinettes after church at night.
