… I took the morning train for Liaohsin going with Mr. Chu, Tom Huan & Mr. Hsieh. Huan met me & carried me to the Chinese church. At 10 a.m. we had a meeting of the school members. Later on, we held a meeting at which I spoke using the parable of the wise & foolish virgins. Afterwards Mr. Chu and I took a walk around town. After supper alone we had evening prayers. The students sang beautifully. The day closed with 11 professions, 2 more on account of sickness. Tsai is in round Yang's work & was an introduction to the collection.
