"Crazy, I guess," she replied, but she doesn't act the part. We have run over 400 miles nearly every day, our best run being 449. Meals on board ship get tiresome. M. says they nauseate her. Most of the stuff is tasteless. 400 tons of coal a day burned on this ship. She can make 22 knots per hour, but she doesn't do it for me, judging by the chart.
